With GSSP-funded premium support, the Pacific Catastrophe Risk Insurance Company (PCRIC) has triggered a Short-term Preparedness (SP) payout of US$8,400 for the ‘Eua cluster for the period 1–31 July 2026, representing 20% of the ‘Eua limit of US$42,000. A Rapid Response (ER) payout has also been triggered for Tongatapu for the same period, reflecting 41% of the Tongatapu limit of US$86,100.
