Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores information that your browser automatically transmits to us in “server log files”. The data is stored for 14 days. These are:

  • Referrer URL
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address
  • These data will not be combined with data from other sources.
  • The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to ensure confidentiality and integrity.

Processing of data (contanct data, stock data)

When you contact us, for example by e-mail, we process the data you have provided us with in this context. If your details are used for the purpose of handling the contact enquiry and its processing within the framework of contractual/pre-contractual relationships, the legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. For other inquiries, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR is the legal basis for the processing.

We delete your data if they are no longer required for the purpose for which they were collected and if there are no legal retention periods to the contrary.

5. Analysis tools and advertising

Our website works with Matomo, a web analytics tool. Matomo uses “cookies” which are text files stored on your computer to help analyze how visitors use the website. The cookies’ information on your use of the website will be transmitted to our servers and stored there for evaluation. The IP address is anonymized immediately in the process. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that you may then not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

Matomo processes the data in the cloud operated by Amazon Web Service (AWS) (Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg) and stores the data in the AWS computer centre in Frankfurt. AWS is certified under ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018 and BSI C5 and participates in the EU-USA Privacy Shield framework agreement. Personal data are processed on the basis of the AWS data protection policy (https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/?nc1=f_pr) Pseudonymised usage profiles are created and evaluated from these data by Matomo for the same purpose.

If you do not agree to the storage and analysis of the data from your visit, you can object to the storage and use at any time by clicking the checkbox below. This will result in the placement of an opt-out cookie on your browser, which prevents Matomo from processing any session data. Please keep in mind that the opt-out cookie will also be deleted if you remove your cookies and may need to be reactivated by you.

6. Other tools and integration of third parties

Content Delivery Network von Cloudflare

We use the Content Delivery Network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, to be able to deliver the content of our online offering faster. Cloudflare is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnZKAA0&status=Active).

The legal basis for the use of the CDN is our legitimate interest in the efficient provision and optimisation of our online services (Art. 6 Para. I lit. f GDPR).

Fonts from MyFonts

We use so-called web fonts provided by MyFonts, MyFonts Inc., 500 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, MA 01801, USA (hereinafter: MyFonts) for the uniform display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the web fonts you need into its browser cache to display text and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using connects to the MyFonts servers. This allows MyFonts to know that your IP address has been used to access our website. MyFonts Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
