The Global Shield Solutions Platform (GSSP) second Call for Proposals (CfP) for Costa Rica is now open.
Based on the Request for Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance (CDRFI) Support submitted to the Global Shield against Climate Risks Secretariat by the Ministry of Finance of Costa Rica, GSSP, as one of the Global Shield’s Financing Vehicles, structured a support package addressing the needs and gaps identified in Costa Rica’s Request for CDRFI Support.
As part of the support package, GSSP offers support in assessing the feasibility of establishing a national open-access risk data platform as well as strengthening the General Superintendency of Insurance of Costa Rica (SUGESE) in their responsibility of overseeing the implementation of the Global Shield support. GSSP now opens two Call for Proposals (CfP) for these support elements.
All tender documents, templates, and detailed application requirements are available on the DTVP procurement platform.
Tender Package CR_A1
The tender package CR_A1 presents the assignment of a study with the objective of establishing the feasibility, scope and roadmap for the development of an open-access, up-to-date national data platform on climate risks and disasters.
Research institutions, academia, data and risk modelers, and public and private sector entities are encouraged to apply. Both individual organisations and consortia are welcome, with emphasis on involving local organisations.
